I first had the chance to meet Mike at the Grand American World Trapshooting Championships in Sparta, Illinois, ,2009. He was considering a competition gun purchase from the current company I’m affiliated with, Kolar Arms. We spoke about his next purchase for a bit, he shot one of our guns on the practice field, and he was on his way. A few weeks after the tournament while browsing through my potential customers, I found Mike’s email address in my records. So I decided to do a follow up, just to see if he had given any further consideration to our product. As we began to chat, we spoke about competitions that I had attended, my shooting achievements, and we started a discussion of what it took to be a successful shooter/salesman. This was the beginning of a new era for my new marketing strategies. Mike was instantly someone who I wanted to help develop my business as a Field Rep. for Kolar. They say you can spot a knowledgeable and successful businessman instantly. Mike was just that, and it was easily apparent after two emails and a simple phone call.

I am a leasing agent at an upscale shopping center. I met Mike when he was looking for office space for lease. I worked with him for a few weeks and we tied down a deal. It was a very smooth process. Once he moved into the space down the hall from me, we would visit periodically. The center has had several issues with it’s plans to start a 2nd phase to the development. Mike was very understanding of this issue. He would ask questions and show his interest in my progress with leasing and my real life.
